Animal Services

The City of Warren Animal Services' department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

• Responding to stray animal complaints
• Investigating dangerous animals
• Impoundments
• Adoptions
  • Dog adoption fee is $25.00
  • Dog return fee is $50.00
  • Dog surrender fee is $150.00
  • Animals are available for adoption after the 7th day from being impounded.
• Barking dog complaints
• Carcass removal
• Ordinance enforcement
  • Leash law citation fine is $190.00

Our hours of opperation are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm please call the non-emergency police department line to request services. 

If you would like to make a donation to the animal shelter, please contact the Mayor's office at (870) 226-6743. All donations are welcome and should be made payable to the City of Warren.
